Happy Rosh Hashanah L’ Shana Tova
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year begins today at sundown. The celebration marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year and a time for celebration, reflection and prayer. It is a time to spend with family and friends. A favorite tradition is dipping apples into honey to welcome a sweet and healthy year ahead. This year my holiday was made sweeter by spending it with my daughter Allie in California.
Last week I visited Washington DC to see my daughter Kathleen. This photo is of a stained glass ceiling in a Synagogue we toured. The architecture of the building was beautiful, but the detail in the glass was what captured my eye. Just in time for the holidays … a perfect photo to share.
Happy Rosh Hashanah, and may you enjoy a Happy Healthy and Sweet New Year!
